Celebrating Jamaican heritage while making real impact through local initiatives, events, programs, and partnerships.
The Jamaican Canadian Association of Alberta has proudly supported and led many events and programs that celebrate culture and build stronger communities. Since the beginning, we’ve taken part in local and international activities—right here in Calgary, across Canada, and even back home in Jamaica. We’ve played a key role in community events like CariFest through the Caribbean Community Council, as well as other major celebrations like GlobalFest, ReggaeFest, and the Caribbean Heritage Sports Council (CHSC) Sports Day.
At JCAA, “Being More, Doing More” means honouring our roots while giving back in meaningful ways. Through cultural festivals, youth programs, and community outreach, we are committed to sharing Jamaican culture and making a real difference. We believe in unity, growth, and supporting one another. As we continue to grow and reach more people, we welcome you to be part of our mission—working together to celebrate our heritage and build a brighter future for everyone.
